2008 Football Champions

Kirkland's football team went undefeated this year and won the championship game. They got to play the final game at the Grants Pass High School (mini BYU stadium) field under the lights.

Free Duck Tickets

Some people from our ward called us on Saturday November 15th and said that they had two Oregon Duck tickets for the game that day and couldn't use them and wanted to know if we wanted them. Because it was a week before Kirkland's birthday and Garrett had basketball practice Dave took Kirkland to the game. They had a lot of fun although we would never know because they didn't take any pictures of themselves. They did get some great shots of the stadium and the Duck!

Video Game Sleep over

Kirkland celebrated his 12th birthday with 5 friends coming over for a Video Game Sleep Over. It was one wild night. They had Playstation 2 in Garrett's room, the Wii in Kirkland's room, and Xbox 360 in the family room. They played games and watched movies most of the night.

It's Offical Garrett is a Caveman

After two grueling weeks of basketball tryouts Garrett is offically a Caveman. He sure is excited. He's practicing a lot. In his third game which most of you already know he scored 32 points. Yes, he was on drugs. Tylenol Cold. For some reason he was sick and had the game of his life. He travels a lot and is going to play Sheldon on Tuesday 1/06/09. They are a school from Eugene that always has a great team. They will be hard to beat. He usually has two games a week and loves getting out of school early for games.

2nd Place in the Winter Jam

Kirkland's basketball team Xtreme won second place in the Winter Jam tournament in Medford this weekend. They won their first two games. They won their third game in over time even with only four players on the court because three players fouled out. Then they went into the championship game. We did good but we got in foul trouble again and didn't win. We haven't gotten that far for awhile in a tournament. Kirkland got to take the trophy home first.

Christmas Morning

The boys had a fun Christmas. They got mostly everything they wanted minus the cell phones they wanted. Garrett got a Labron James sweat suit. Kirkland got a kick n go scooter. They both got an Xbox 360.

The Marshall's

We had a great time at the Marshall's. Their family is a lot of fun. They always make us feel really welcome. Rick had to do a lot of Bishop things but we still got to see him and enjoy him. Bonnie and Ricks family is really growing as you can see. The only person I didn't get a picture of was Haley. She was working a lot and we only got to see her once. Elise's family is really cute. They have two boys Danen and Caleb. David really liked their baby and even said he was a litte baby hungry. Kate's family is really nice too. Her husband Nicholas was very nice and they had two girls Vienna, and Alexis. Conner was very camera shy so be lucky you got a picture of him. Cameron was 6'4" and was a lot of fun. We really enjoyed seeing them and Grandma. Grandma looked great. She still gets around really good although her sighe slows her down a little bit especially when she is in a place she is not familiar with.

New "Bling Bling"

David spoiled me for my birthday and bought me a new watch. He did a great job picking it out I really loved it. David's Mom got me this sapphire and aquamarine ring which I also loved! We had a fun day. We went to Garrett's basketball game in Eagle Point then went to the Olive Garden for dinner. Garrett's team won their game.
