Curls and Black Eyes

Top picture Garretts hair gets really curly like Daves when its long.
Bottom picture- Kirkland got nailed with an elbow in the eye at his game over the weekend. I thought it would be a lot worse but it wasn't too bad. Middle picture is a couple of days later. Sorry I got them in the wrong order.

Boatnick Parada

Kirkland was in the annual Boatnick Parade with the South Middle School band. We had a nice quiet weekend. We didn't do much because I had bronchitis. It was kind of nice just to stay home.

Way over the Hill

Since we already celebrated Dave's birthday with a nice fish dinner at the coast,we ordered in some pizza and had DQ cake. (Daves favorite)

Hot day at the beach

Heard it was going to be nice at the coast so we decided to take Dave there for his birthday. It was beautiful. It was hot and we all got sunburnt, which is not very common on the Oregon coast. It was really cool, we saw whales for the first time ever. We saw a bunch of them right off the shore. You could see the water spout and then their tails would flip out of the water. It was really cool. We met our friends that live in Brookings now at the beach and that was the first time they had seen whales also.

Easter Sunday

For Easter the boys got suit coats. They were the only boys passing the sacrament who didn't have them. Now their stylin.

15 years old!

Here is Garrett at 15. He got an Ipod touch for his birthday. We took him and his friend Chris out to dinner at JJ Norths so they could clean the place out. The top picture is Garrett's first time shaving. He no longer has a stash.

Spring Break

For spring break we went to the coast for a couple of days. We went to a new place, Bandon, Oregon. It was really fun. They have a famous rock called face rock, which has a story about an old Indian fable. We saw lots of sea lions swimming near the shore by the light house that we went to.

Our Girls

Had to include these pictures of the girls. If looks could kill we would be dead. I think Gracie was a little annoyed with the boys!

State Basketball

Here are some pictures of Kirkland's state basketball tournament in March. We didn't do as good as we have in the past. As you can see from the last picture height was a huge issue that we didn't have!
